Sorry it's been so long. I get a little distracted from time to time. A lot of stuff has been goin on since the SALE banquet. Let's see... we've had some great travel, good times in area VI with some 5am trips to IHOP and some awesome school assemblies. I did get to work a little in the hog barn at San Antonio. That was an adventure, I am now a certified "pig bouncer" ready to break up a barrow fight and the drop of a board! I finished the week in the steer barn with Mr. Young at the clip board and got to "wipe 'em down" in the holding pen. I had a great time getting to see a ton of friends and eating some awesome mexican food in the Alamo City. Area V was a blast with Rachel as our tour guide we had some great schools and got to eat some good food in Dallas and Pilot Point. Watch out for those pirate swords!... I'm sitting in a La Quinta hotel in Abilene, TX as I write tonight and we ate some great steaks at the Boy's Ranch here in Abilene tonight where we got to hang out with the National Officers and meet some really cool kids! Some even drove 4 hours to come hang out! I'm going tomorrow to the Farm Bureau headquarters in Waco and on to Austin to meet with the Comissioner of Agriculture Todd Staples, then after dinner in Austin, on to Area III for a few days of travel before I put my boots back on and grab my Resistol for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! I'll write as soon as I can. I hope everybody's enjoying a great second semester and looking forward to Spring contests and events.
